Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Akash Halder Technologia, we specialize in delivering custom software development, design, and technical consultation services. Because our projects are tailored digital services, refund eligibility depends on the status of the project and the work completed.

2. Before Work Begins

If a payment has been made but project work, planning, or resource allocation has not yet started:

• Refund Eligibility: 100% refund of the amount paid.
• Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.

3. After Work Has Started

Once project planning, research, design, development, consultation, server setup, or implementation has commenced:

• Refund requests are reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis.
• Any refund amount will be reduced proportionally based on the time invested, resources used, and work completed up to the date of the cancellation request.

4. Milestone-Based Projects

For milestone-based billing engagements:

• Once a milestone has been completed, reviewed, and approved by the client, the payment associated with that milestone is non-refundable.
• Only remaining, unpaid milestones or unstarted work phases may be cancelled.

5. Completed Projects

After the final deliverables have been delivered, transferred, or deployed live:

• No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
• Reason: Custom software, codebases, and digital services are intellectual property and cannot be returned once delivered.

6. Digital Products

All sales of pre-built, digital products are final and non-refundable. This includes:

• Templates
• Source code
• Documentation
• Downloadable assets
• Other digital products

7. Consultation Services

Consultation fees (including technical consultation, digital audits, and system architecture sessions) are non-refundable once the consultation session has been conducted.

8. Project Cancellation

Either party may cancel an active project. If a project is cancelled:

• The client remains responsible for payment of all outstanding invoices representing work completed prior to cancellation.

9. Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact us directly to resolve any payment disputes before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of active services, termination of hosting/code licenses, and legal action.
